Fogged Windows or Foggy windows occur if the window glass is old or has been compromised in some way its usually due to leak in sealed edge of the window glass.
Unfortunately this is very common and the only way to fix this issue is to have the glass replaced.
A fogged insulated glass window is made up of two panes with a spacer in between the glass that usually has some type of desiccant or moisture absorbing material in between the panes. Which is why you can’t clean in between them or just replace one side of the glass, when we order new glass to fix this this issue it is referred to as a IG which stands for insulated glass unit. each IG comes with two panes of brand new glass with a new spacer all sealed together to provide a brand new look for your windows.
